The pressure gauge is affected by the working environment or the medium being measured, After using it for a period of time, There may be some dirt and rust on various parts of the meter.

If stains are allowed to remain inside the pressure gauge, it will increase the wear of the internal components, thus affecting its normal operation. In severe cases, the instrument may malfunction or be scrapped.

To avoid these situations, the pressure gauge can be cleaned regularly.

1. If there is dust inside the gauge case, the cover can be removed and turned upside down, gently shake the dust out, then use a blowing tool to blow away the remaining dust.

2. If dust and dirt enter the glass cover and hinder the meter reading, you can remove the glass cover and clean it with clean water. Or wipe it clean with cotton cloth dipped in alcohol.

3. When dirt appears in the pressure guide hole of the instrument connector, You can use a needle to inject gasoline into the pressure guide hole, Shake to dissolve the dirt and then pour it out. Repeat this several times,  gauges can be cleaned.

4.Corrosion on instrument connectors may affect instrument installation. The joints can be immersed in gasoline and brushed to remove rust, corresponding thread molds can also be used to remove rust. After cleaning is completed, anti-rust treatment can also be carried out.
